The TBM Council's CFO of IT Workgroup offers senior IT finance leaders the opportunity to advance the disciplines and standards that define Technology Business Management (TBM) for the profession.

Co-Chaired by TBM Council Member Priyu Suryawanshi from Prudential Financial and ISG’s Steve Hall, TBM Council Alliance Partner. The workgroup will discuss the CFO of IT competency model, IT planning/forecasting, best practices for developing and communicating key performance metrics (KPIs), as well as provide a forum for collaboration for this executive community of senior IT finance leaders.

Workgroup attendees will define the future vision of IT finance in corporate enterprises and government organizations. Meetings are scheduled for a 3-part series taking place September 20, October 18, and November 7th (at TBM Conference 2016).

The discussions will focus on next-generation IT finance disciplines, specifically:

  • CFO of IT Workgroup introduction and objectives
  • Discussion on common challenges to IT planning processes
  • Workgroup goals to develop IT planning best practices
  • Survey of KPI's to identify a set of recommended metrics
  • Communicating business results with KPI's
  • Guest speakers from the TBM Council Membership community
